Position Responsibilities
- Provide the strategic leadership and direction for gas distribution & transmission integrity programs encompassing multiple states, regions & diverse system operating conditions.
- Responsible for the effective & efficient utilization of resources with emphasis on safety, cost reduction/control, reliability & compliance with regulations.
- Develops, approves & manages annual & long-term expense & capital financial resource budgets.
- Develops & recommends regulatory strategy to ensure recovery of capital and expenses of program.

- Represent Xcel Energy and its Operating Companies in FERC rate filings, transactional regulatory approvals, tariff amendments, market based rate matters, FERC rulemakings, and Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) proceedings.
- Advise Xcel Energy and its Operating Companies in FERC compliance matters, including transmission matters, wholesale production matters, and corporate affiliation rules.
- Represent Xcel Energy in FERC electric litigation, including section 205 and 206 proceedings under the Federal Power Act, and including matters involving Xcel Energy's operating companies both inside and outside of RTOs.
