The FAQ ….
What trends are you seeing in today’s market?
As a seasoned executive in this industry, candidates in Executive, STEM and Legal positions are finally being considered for roles and are being taken serious as professionals in the workplace.
The plethora of candidates breaking through the stigma have become very clear about who and what type of organization they want to represent.
Are you having difficulty finding candidates?
Simple Answer, No.
Pre George Floyd people continue to assume there was a pipeline issue in their industry for hire. Post George Floyd, diverse candidates are now seen as critical variables in the world’s economy. What I know to be true, is that diversity exists in the pipeline, and we will continue to flourish in the future. Candidates are here, and they have always been here.
How has 2020 affected the recruiting and hiring industry?
The global pandemic has shed light to the importance of organizations getting serious about valuing all employees. This time has also elucidated the discrimination that has taken place in hiring practices over the decades. We saw it clearly with gender pay equity, we see it when 2 individuals with the same acquired degrees are not given equal resources, we see it every day with the lack of education and access organizations are providing to new and existing staff. Diverse Talent is committed to providing an even level playing field.
